Refund and Cancellation Policy
Rules for reservation fee, Buy Now payment, rejected requests, failed inspection, and buyer cancellation.
Standard refund rules
| Situation | Decision | Reason |

| Seller rejects unpaid reservation / Buy Now before buyer payment | No refund needed / request closed | Buyer has not paid yet. |
| Buyer cancels before paying reservation fee | Allowed | No money has been paid yet. |
| Reservation fee already paid | Normally non-refundable | The reservation blocked the car from other buyers. Admin may override only for seller fault, fraud, duplicate payment, or system/payment error. |
| Inspection failed | Buyer may cancel and request refund | The car condition does not satisfy platform inspection expectation. |
| Seller wants to cancel after reservation fee paid | Not allowed through normal seller action | Seller must contact admin/dispute handling if there is a serious issue. |
| Full payment already made | Payment remains held by the CarLink platform flow until admin cancellation/refund processing | Seller payout must not be released before completion. |
Important note
CarLink records the decision and payment status. Actual bank/payment-gateway settlement timing may depend on the payment provider and administrator processing. CarLink manual bank transfer uses the platform account first, not direct seller bank transfer.
